The Psalms – Prayers for Today’s Church

The Psalms were written in very different times from our own. But they have stood the test of time, addressing many of the problems we still face: violence, injustice, anger – and bewilderment. Why do the wicked prosper? Where is God when we suffer? In this 5-session course, Bishop Stephen Cottrell reflects on the psalms, and invites us to join him in his reflections. They will provide an excellent way for us to deepen our prayer life in this our Year of Celebration.

Sessions will take place in Church on Tuesday mornings from 10‑11.30 am and will be repeated on Thursday evenings from 7.30‑9 pm, on the following dates:
