Hall Hire

The Church Hall of St Andrew’s Eaton is a spacious, light and airy building with good catering facilities.

It is an attractive venue for private functions, receptions, anniversary celebrations, children’s birthday parties, etc. and is available for hire, subject to the terms and conditions set out in our Conditions of Hire document.

If you are interested in hiring St Andrew’s Church or Church Hall, please look first at the Facilities information where you will see a detailed description of the premises. Then please contact the Parishes Office by telephone (01603 473646) or email to discuss the proposed date and purpose of the booking and the conditions of hire. Once the date and times and other terms have been agreed with the Parishes office, you will be asked to complete, sign and return an agreement with a damages deposit. Your booking will be considered secure when full payment is made. You can find and print the Hall Booking form and Agreement to the Terms and Conditions in the links on the left.

Main Room

The Hall’s main room measures approximately 40 feet x 30 feet (12 x 9 metres) and has a high ceiling and a sprung wooden floor. Large picture windows along one wall provide plenty of natural light. A stage at one end is mainly used for storage, and heating is provided by hot air blowers mounted under the stage.

There are 10 large Gopak tables, 12 small tables and 80 padded upright chairs, 10 upright chairs with arms, and a further 20 moulded plastic chairs – all of which are available for use free of charge.

The Hall has a capacity of 200 people standing, or 110 people seated, or about 60 seated around tables.

Kitchen

There is a closable hatch through to the adjoining kitchen, which is equipped with two new gas cookers, a microwave, larder fridge, a hot water supply with double sink unit and a hot water boiler. There are large supplies of plates, cups, bowls, cutlery and utensils and two kettles. All of these are available at no additional charge.

Access and facilities

A toilet facility is available with wheelchair access, separate male and female toilets and baby changing facilities.

There is level access to the Hall through double doors from a large (24 spaces) car park with additional parking available nearby.

Health & Safety in the Church Hall

Your attention is drawn to policy and guidance documents provided for your benefit.

Please read the Conditions of Hire to ensure that the Hall is suitable for the purpose intended without breaching the Conditions of Hire.

Please note that no animals (including birds) except guide dogs are allowed in the hall, other than for a special event agreed to by the Church Hall committee. No animals whatsoever are to enter the kitchen at any time.

Agreement to Conditions of Hire: Church Hall

When you have agreed a booking in principle with the Parishes Office please read the Charges document and the Conditions of Hire carefully (these can be found on the Booking form). Then please print, sign and return one paper copy of the Booking Form with Conditions of Hire to the Parishes Office, retaining a copy for your records.
