Future Events

Sign up is typically available about two weeks in advance of each event. You can join our mailing list to be the first to know about future events by emailing Stephanie.

Our past events have included a wide range of guided activities, including learning how to make a paper lantern, needle-felt birds, and watercolour candle-light. You can check out some photos of who we are and what we’ve created together here.

What is Art Café?

We’re a friendly and casual space for those who enjoy community and creativity to craft together.

You’re welcome to join our guided activity, bring your own project, or simply enjoy the company over tea & coffee.

Events are generally free of charge, but donations are appreciated; they help us to cover costs and serve our community, as we’re entirely volunteer-run and donation-based.*

*When costs require special crafting kits/non-reusable materials (e.g. paper lanterns, needle-felting birds), we will either ask you to bring these materials yourselves, or provide them for a small fee at the event.

News

We are currently looking for more volunteers, so if you’d like to get involved — whether to teach a session, bake a cake, contribute crafting ideas, or help with set up/clean up — please reach out at our email and number below.
