Upcoming Event

Make Autumn Bunting

Saturday, 26 September, 3-5PM

Join us for an afternoon of creativity and community, with tea, cake, and music. All are welcome to join, whether you’re on your own, bringing friends, or coming to make friends; this event is for adults, teens, and children.

Crafting a decorative chain of colorful autumn leaves to adorn your home this season. This is a simple craft activity, and you can make the design as minimal or decorative as you like. The fabric leaves make this project easy to store and reuse for seasons to come.

Please bring a glue gun if you can – we have a limited supply to share among a large group. Feel free to bring any extra fabrics, buttons, sequins or ribbons that you’d like to add to your bunting, as well!

Donations are appreciated to cover costs, refreshments, supplies, etc. If you prefer to give at the event please select ‘Reserve Your Spot without Donation.’

From 3PM to 5PM on Saturday, 26th September

St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Church Lane, Eaton, next to Waitrose

Future Events

Sign up is typically available about two weeks in advance of each event. You can join our mailing list to be the first to know about future events by emailing Stephanie.

Our past events have included a wide range of guided activities, including learning how to make a paper lantern, needle-felt birds, and watercolour candle-light. You can check out some photos of who we are and what we’ve created together here.

What is Art Café?

We’re a friendly and casual space for those who enjoy community and creativity to craft together.

You’re welcome to join our guided activity, bring your own project, or simply enjoy the company over tea & coffee.

Events are generally free of charge, but donations are appreciated; they help us to cover costs and serve our community, as we’re entirely volunteer-run and donation-based.*

*When costs require special crafting kits/non-reusable materials (e.g. paper lanterns, needle-felting birds), we will either ask you to bring these materials yourselves, or provide them for a small fee at the event.

News

We are currently looking for more volunteers, so if you’d like to get involved — whether to teach a session, bake a cake, contribute crafting ideas, or help with set up/clean up — please reach out at our email and number below.
