CHILDREN & FAMILIES WORKER (PART-TIME)

Thank you for your interest in this post. Please read this pack carefully before making your application. It includes:

  • Job description and person specification

  • St Andrew’s parish profile and Summary of current activities for children and young people

  • Application form

  • A copy of the job advert

You can also explore this website (www.standrewseaton.org.uk)

A group from St Andrew’s have been prayerfully working on this appointment and we look forward to appointing the right person to work with us and to identify and implement God’splans for the children and families in our church and local community.

Please complete the application form, using the job description and person specification as your guide. There is no need to send a CV.

The deadline for applications is Saturday 4 May. You may submit your application either by email, or by hard copy to the Vicar, the Rev’d Phil Rodd, at the address at the top of this page.

Short-listing will take place on 7 May. We will contact you by email. If you have not heard from us by 10 May, that will mean that your application has not been successful.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 16 May. Times, venue and details will be sent to short- listed candidates.

Because of the nature of the work for which you are applying you are required by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 to declare all criminal convictions including those which forother purposes are ‘spent’ under the provisions of the Act. Any job offer will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will disclose all cautions, reprimands and warnings as well as convictions.

If you wish to talk to someone in advance of making your application, please do not hesitate to phone Phil Rodd, the Vicar, at the number given in the letter-head above.

We look forward to hearing from you.
