Flower Crown Workshop
We are delighted to have guest teacher Ella Micheler as our crafting guide for this workshop, and she has provided the following description and instructions below:
Unleash your inner floral artist and join us for a Flower Crown Workshop!
In this hands-on event, you’ll learn how to design and create your very own flower crown using fresh, seasonal blooms. Whether you’re getting ready for a festival, wedding, photoshoot, or just want to create a beautiful spring display for your table or door, this workshop is the perfect way to connect with nature, express your personal style, and take home a beautiful handmade flower crown.
🌼 No experience needed – we’ll guide you step-by-step.
🌷 Basic materials are provided, including a variety greenery and tools, as well as a small selection of base flowers. Please bring your own flowers for your crown. We recommend around 10-20 stems per crown, of 3-5 types of flowers. Please see a list of suggested flowers below.
Suitable flowers include: Sunflowers, Hydrangea, Roses, Stocks, Hypericum berries, Grape hyacinths, Hellebores, Thistle, Peonies, Spray chrysanthemum, Clematis, Chamelaucium, Freesia, Ranunculus, Alstroemeria, Sweet William, Lavender.
This event is donation-basis/pay what you can; to cover costs, our guest teacher suggests a donation of £5, which you can provide via Eventbrite or at the door. If you prefer to give at the event please select 'Reserve Your Spot without Donation.'

What is Art Café?
We're a friendly and casual space for those who enjoy community and creativity to craft together.
You're welcome to join our guided activity, bring your own project, or simply enjoy the company over tea & coffee.
Events are generally free of charge, but donations are appreciated; they help us to cover costs and serve our community.*
*When costs require special crafting kits/non-reusable materials (e.g. paper lanterns, needle-felting birds), we will either ask you to bring these materials yourselves, or provide them for a small fee at the event.
If you are interested in learning more, volunteering, or otherwise getting involved, please contact Stephanie. We are completely volunteer-run and donation-based, so warmly welcome community collaborators — whether you are interested in running an art workshop, helping with refreshments, helping to set up/set down, or contributing crafting ideas.
